Gönül Ardal graduated from the Department of Interior Architecture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In the early stages of her career, she worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects, gaining valuable experience in space planning and material detailing.
In 2010, she co-founded Gönye Design with Yelin Evcen, focusing on branded residential, office, and mixed-use interior projects. Since then, she has played a leading role in many large-scale developments, with particular expertise in the design of show apartments, shared amenities, and sales offices.
Ardal’s design philosophy blends functionality with aesthetic clarity, always guided by the needs and lifestyles of the users. She emphasizes design solutions that are both contextually responsive and emotionally engaging.
In addition to her design practice, she shares her experience as a guest lecturer at universities such as MSGU, BAU, IKU and actively contributes to design juries and industry events. Through her role at Gönye Design, she continues to shape spatial environments that reflect thoughtful, human-centered design thinking.
